Homestyling, or homestaging as it is also known, is done to highlight the best features of a property.
The terms homestaging and homestyling are often used to describe the same thing but at Svea Home we use them for two different purposes.
- A homestaging we do before the sale of a property. Here the focus is that the house or apartment should be sold as quickly as possible and at the highest possible price.
- A homestyling we do to take the experience and feel of a home to the next level. Here, the aim is to create a welcoming, homely and functional environment that maximises the experience for those who live there. Read more on the page about interior design.
Homestaging
Homestaging is done before selling a property. The aim is to emphasise the best features of the property and thus make it more appealing to potential buyers.
In our opinion, pre-sale homestaging is one of the best investments you can make. Styled houses and apartments simply sell faster and at higher prices than others.

Homestyling
Homestyling can be more or less extensive. How much or little we do depends on the extent of your property's needs and your wishes.
To make it as easy as possible for our customers, we offer our home styling services in the form of different packages:
- Mini styling - here we spend a day working to optimise your home for the photo shoot. We'll open up, rearrange, move and add interior details that we have with us.
- Large styling - here we rearrange and complete furniture, install paintings and curtains, work with lighting, textiles and interior design details.
- Complete styling - in a complete styling we furnish we furnish houses and apartments from scratch. In some cases some of the existing furniture can be used, in other cases we help with the necessary purchases.
- Renovation styling - In some cases, simple renovations can completely change the way a home is perceived. This may involve painting a wall, replacing a sink and so on. Then we style it as needed.
